4 Step Seamless Proprietary eD Finish A proprietary finish (done right in Iowa) coats the A7S-450; this finish provides an incredibly strong rugged finish that actually creates a skin on the cabinet. This skin stands up to everything from a friend putting a pop can on your cabinet to your children’s toys.
Built in 1300w Amplifier Your A7S-450 comes with Elemental Designs a 1300 watt RMS amplifier full of features to tune to your needs. Built in crossovers to phase control we have insured there is plenty of power packed into this subtle looking subwoofer.
CAD Designed & CNC Cut Right in eD's Iowa factory; our HT equipment is designed with the latest in computer and design technology to yield accuracy (including our CNC) to .001". Giving us consistent response and results in every single cabinet.
Flush Assembly Techniques The A7S-450 is designed to look at home in your living room. This means the amplifier and speaker do not stick out creating an out of place look. Everything is designed to create a seamless look and sound; form doesn't always have to follow function, even with your subwoofer.
Got Bracing? While others just talk about it; We do it with internal bracing going both horizontally and vertically within the A7S-450.
ICE Power Integration This eD subwoofers come integrated with the B&O Ice Power module. Exceptional dynamics with state of the art electronics are featured in every A7 subwoofer.
No Expense Spared Cabinet Design It doesn't stop with well done bracing or precision design and manufacturing. We take it even further, with 1" Thick walls all around and even a 2" thick front face. This is another perfect example of what happens when diehard enthusiasts get their hands on the development and manufacturing process.
Recessed Front Firing Subwoofer The subwoofer driver in the A7S-450 cabinet is recessed into the front baffle boards 1” to allow ample clearances in front of the driver. Match that with 1” of clearance from the included grill and you’ll never have to worry about your subwoofer having any sort of clearance issues.
Threaded Isolation Inserts No cheap plastic spikes or pads here! The A7s-450 sits on 4 high strength threaded isolation pads. Manufactured from a SBR rubber matched perfectly to support the weight of the A7s-450 and isolate your cabinet from vibration against your floor. Hardwood, granite, marble, or carpet just 1 insert needed.
